The Research On Responsibility Cropland Of Anhui In Early1960S

At the beginning of1960s, the responsibility cropland was supposed to correct the mistake of collectivization of agriculture and the project has been launched for one year and is faced with a star-crossed future. This paper takes Ding yuan County as a case and use the framework of "one body two wings" in order to do the in-depth analysis.’One body’means that we are going to use the files in the museum which document the situation in Ding yuan before and after the the responsibility cropland’s launch.’Two wings’refers to the peasants and cadres at the grass-roots level.The paper firstly introduces the general situation of Anhui agriculture during the’Great Leap Forward’and the reason why provincial Party committee launched The responsibility cropland, and then focused on Ding yuan County in order to analyze in different angles for example, implementing steps, the specific method, performance evaluation, system defect and so on. Last but not least, we use the perspective of the farmers and cadres at the grassroots level to re-examine the responsibility cropland.
