As the booming of the cause of the teaching foreigners Chinese at home in recentyears, many language experts have begun to devote themselves to the flourish. Perhapsbecause of its young, a lot of research perspectives focus on language teaching. However,Chinese has a history of five thousand years, each word records the national culture. Ifteaching Chinese is combined with language and culture, students can communicate witheach other correctly without using the technique of the pure language teaching. This articlestands on the view of language and culture combination to study the culture vocabularyteaching, and takes the example of the red culture vocabulary. First research on theconnotation、classification、semantic features、the reason of worship of “红”、wordfrequency of the red vocabulary and so on. Then analyze the teaching status of teachingand leaning、negative effects of the red vocabulary. Last discus the teaching skills andmethods. Thus teaching foreigners culture vocabulary must be under the premise of acombination of language with culture, so it will receive the double results with the halfeffort.
