With the rapid development of the globalization, thefrequent and in-depth exchange of economic, educational,cultural and other fields between the different countries andnations, most people are struggling to learn another languageother than the mother tongue to adapt to the opportunities andchallenges. The Chinese government has formulated thedevelopment strategy of "culture going out".In this context.Confucius Institute comes into being.The Confucius Institute has the rapid development, as ofthe end of2012, more than400Confucius Institute and500Confucius Classroom have been established in108counties.These questions that how to maintain and optimize the operatingmode of the Confucius Institute have been research topicsconcerned about by scholars.Nowadays, research on Confucius Institutes is boomingaround the world. But still now, no comprehensive studiesespecially on Confucius Institutes in Korea, in which thedevelopment of Confucius Institutes is quite typical, nor dowe have research on the sustainable development model forConfucius Institutes in Korea. This article focuses on etic study under the perspectiveof country-specific study of Korea Confucius Institution whichis on the basis of the development process and present situationof Confucius Institution in Korea, combining the theories ofManagement and Communication etc. and using some specificprograms and data. In this article, I will analysis theadvantages and disadvantages of Confucius Institution in Koreato explore a healthy and sustainable development way which issuitable for the local characteristics of Korea.The writer introduces the related theory of Chain StoreManagement and holds the view that Confucius Institutes inKorea should further perfect the operating model. At the sametime, the writer think that it should lay equal stress onlanguage and culture and raise Korean people’s understandingof Confucius Institutes.
