Spoken idioms has a very important position in the Chinese daily oralcommunication and it is also a very important part of teaching spoken language toforeign students, while teaching Chinese to foreign students it can’t be ignored. Ithas an important role to play in improving the spoken level of students. due to its owncomplexity students have a hard time understanding and learning Oral idioms,especially Chinese confusable oral idioms is even more difficult to understand andgrasp, and has increased the difficulties of students while learning it,at sametime also brought great distress to the teaching of teachers. From current situation ofTCFL, confusing aspects of oral Chinese idiom teaching lacks effective classroomteaching methods. Most of the textbook, including various oral Chinese idioms is notcomprehensive and stochastic. Foreign students’ mastering confusable oral idioms isnot quite ideal; their oral language is more biased towards written language and not upto standard. Even existing Research work on confusable oral idioms is notcomprehensive as well as insufficient.On the basis of previous correlated researcheson confusable tri syllable oral idioms, we have conducted a comparative analysis onconfusable tri syllable oral idioms and conducted an error analysis on biased use of itby foreign students, combining practical surveys and thinking, proposed somecorresponding feasible suggestions towards text material, classroom teaching andforeign students teaching strategy.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part overall introduces thebackground and significance of this paper, and on the results of previous studiesliterature review carried out conclusion, Moreover it briefly clarify the researchcontent, research methods, theoretical foundation and innovativeness of the thesis.The second part mainly defines the concept of the tri syllable confusable oral idioms,and this paper also discusses all the seven groups of tri syllable confusable oral idiomsand carried a comparative analysis of the paper. The third part by the means ofquestionnaire surveyed foreign students on the tri syllable confusable oral idioms toascertain their status, and obtained data were collected and analyzed in details; moreover through by the means of interviewing foreign student tried to understandlack in teaching and learning strategies, Through the analysis, also find out thereasons behind bias use of the tri syllable confusable oral idioms by foreign students.The fourth part, by the means of investigation and the analysis of the above chapters,towards textbook compilation, teaching method and students study techniqueproposed some corresponding teaching ideas.
