The Status Survey And Intervention Study Of Career Maturity Of Postgraduate Students

Based on the particularity of group,in this study “postgraduate students’ career maturityquestionnaire” is compiled.Also, the current situation and influencing factors are in-depthstudied. And on that basis,the Intervention of career maturity by group counseling are made.All these are made in order to provide measuring tool and intervention method of careermaturity of postgraduate students and carry out the career guidance effectively.The findingsare as follows:(1) The Factor of postgraduate students’ career maturity questionnaire consists ofdecision-making knowledge and attiude.Because of its firm reliability and validity,it will be agood measuring tool for career guidance.(2) The status of postgraduate students’ career maturity is as follows:In general, postgraduate students’ career maturity is not good．It’s in a medium lowlevel;There is no significant gender difference in postgraduate students’ career maturity;There is significant grade difference in postgraduate students’ career maturity．It shows a‘U’-typed development trend;There is no significant matriculate difference in postgraduate students’ career maturity;There is no significant subject difference in postgraduate students’ career maturity;There is significant major satisfaction degree difference in postgraduate students’ careermaturity.(3) The results of psychological and behavior training are as follows: there is nosignificant difference between two groups in the pretest, but there is significant differencebetween two groups in the posttest; the subjects’ sores of experimental group are significantlydifferent between pretest and posttest, but the control group isn’t significant.The results show that: psychological and behavior training is proved to be valid forpostgraduate students’ career maturity and it can be used in career guidance.
