Under the influences of background, customs,language and lifestyle in different culturals,people have different understandings and expression forms for their state of mind. To get ageneral conclusions of children’s psychology theory, we still need a lot of cross-culturalresearch. From the perspective of psychology theory, this thesis focus on the ability gain,development characteristics and influence factors of3-6-year-old Mongol and Han children’sfalse belief in Inner Mongolia region (pastoral-areas, agricultural-areas and city).First of all, documents are collected.From the perspective of psychology, the theory ofCross-Cultural Study on children’s false belief development is illuminated. The necessity ofCross-Cultural Study is stated. The necessity of ability development of Mongol and Hanchildren’s false belief in Inner Mongolia region is put forward. Secondly, based on the theory,empirical study on ability development of3003-6-year-old children’s false belief inpastoral-areas, agricultural-areas and city is made by experiment and survey:(1) study andanalyse the overall present development characteristics of3-6-year-old Mongol and Hanchildren’s false belief (2) discuss the the influence of home environment, culture backgroundand education way to ability development of Mongol and Han children’s false belief (3) getfollowing conclusion, ability of children’s false belief in pastoral-areas, agricultural-areas andcity is improved along with the growth of the age;this development is unbalanced indifferent regions; the false belief ability of only-child children is better than non-only-childchildren. The survey of children’s family nurture in pastoral-areas, agricultural-areas and cityindicates: children who have stronger ability false belief were usually raised by their parentswho have high education and stable income. The developments of Mongol and Han children’sfalse belief in pastoral-areas, agricultural-areas and city have no national difference.
