Fang Weiyi And The Research Of Her Poems

The Fang family in Tongcheng can be regarded as a typical feudalculture family. The family members not only always passed through theimpercial examinations and be officials, but also made a great achievementin literature. The Fang family has turned out some famous females.“Threechaste females in Fang family” plays an important role in Tongchengliterary history. What’s more, they had won themselves a place in thehistory of female literature. Fang Weiyi—the representative of “threechaste females in fang family”, this thesis is going to regard her asa individual case, talking about her life stories, analysing her poemsand so on, in order that we can make a full discussion on her.This thesis consists of four chapters: The first chapter is talkingabout Fang Weiyi’s life stories, doing a textual research on her nameand her word，introducing the contact between Fang and the other familymembers, especially the enlightenment on Fang Yizhi; secondly, I analys-ed Fang Weiyi’s poems; thirdly, I explained the status of Fang Weiyi andher poems; finally, I discoursed the relationship between Fang weiyi andTongcheng literature. The thesis focuses on Fang’s poems, including thepoems’ classification, poems’ language feature, poems’ aestheticallyesthetic, her poems succeed to other’s poem, the poems’ ideologicalorigin, the poems’ statue, and regional culture’s effect on Fang’spoems.
