The research on Globally Important Ingenious Agricultural HeritageSystems in China is mainly carried out within the agriculture,biology andtourism science areas.The rice-fish agricultural system of Longxianvillage is one of the pilot projects,reaching with a perspective ofecological folklore on the area will take this new type of cultural heritageinto the traditional cultural field for the first time,making it all-rounddisplayed.A retrospective analysis of Longxian village and the rice-fishagricultural system,giving by the opening chapter,defines the system asthe rice-fish ecological folklore system from the perspective of ecological folklore.Taken into the areal ecological culture field,the system handeddown through ages as people’s traditional lifestyle will be analyzed fromtheir ecological concept,agrarian traditions,living folk custom and folkdance in the second part.The third chapter approaches the rice—fishecological folklore culture’s decay.Because of the changes of localecological environment and the fundamental shift of the living mode oflabor power of the right age,in Longxian,a homeland of overseas Chinesebecoming more and more like an empty nest,it seems that no offspringmay inherit the ancient custom.At the same time,new acculturation is stillgoing on which People giving up their rights to use or supervise their landso that the beneficial association based on blood relationship of thisvillage is broken.
