In order to study exercise and coping styles, subjective well-being and mental health of female college students and what kind of physical exercise patterns can be more effective in coping styles, subjective well-being and mental health on female college students have a positive impact. On the base of systematically analyzing domestic and foreign physical exercise and coping styles, subjective well-being and mental health, proposing the shortcomings of research in this area and the hypothesis model for physical exercise on mental health of female college students. Many methods have been employed to elaborate on these issues probe, such as literature review, questionnaire, experimentation and statistics.207female freshman students of different professions have been selected for this study. According to large, medium and small exercise intensity, these students have been divided into3groups to aerobics exercise intervention, each divided into6-week exercise group and12-week exercise group. In addition to class time per week, the other class is increased. This study takes single-blind experimental approach. The subjects exercise by the fixed instructor at the same time and place. Each training time is60minutes (Not including preparatory activities and relaxation, and for5-8minutes to rest). Additional class is30minutes (Not including preparatory activities and relaxation). Exercise intensity has been controlled by heart rate.The results show that:(1)The interaction of physical exercise duration and exercise intensity on problem-solving is significant. Exercise duration on emotional orientation, avoiding, complaint, metastasis, patience, escaping and fantasy dimension is significant difference. The effect of sustained exercise for12weeks is better than6weeks.(2)The interaction of physical exercise duration and exercise intensity on social behavior and family satisfaction is significant. The main effect of exercise duration on dimensions of self-satisfaction, negative emotions, life satisfaction, social behavior, energy, relationships, family satisfaction and the total score of subjective well-being is significant. The main effect of exercise intensity is not significant. The effect of sustained exercise for12weeks is better than6weeks.(3)The interaction of physical exercise duration and exercise intensity on anxiety, social withdrawal, sexual and psychological barriers, tendency of mental illness is significant. The main effect of exercise duration on somatoform disorder, anxiety, low self-esteem, social withdrawal, sexual psychological disorder, compulsion, dependence and the total score of Mental Health is significant. The main effect of exercise intensity is not significant. The effect of sustained exercise for12weeks is better than6weeks.(4) Exercise duration can reduce mental health dimensions of anxiety, sexual and psychological barriers. The intensity of exercise can reduce the mental health dimensions of social attack, sexual and psychological barriers.Based on the analysis of the study, the study drew the following results:(1)The longer duration of physical exercise, the stronger impact the low intensity physical activity and moderate-intensity physical activity will have on the coping style, subjective well-being and mental health of female college students. On the opposite, the table of the situation of large-intensity physical activity presents the rotation V curve on the subjective well-being and mental health.(2) Comparing with the intensity physical, the duration of exercise is the more influential factor in the SWB of female college students. Physical exercise not only promotes the coping style, subjective well-being and mental health more to maintain.(3) Exercise is a positive coping style.(4) Exercise duration can directly reduce mental health dimensions of anxiety, sexual and psychological barriers. The intensity of exercise can directly reduce the mental health dimensions of social attack, sexual and psychological barriers. Intensity and duration of exercise are produced the indirect effect through the subjective well-being.
