| With the development of tourism industry, the translation of tourism texts plays animportant part in propagandizing tourist attractions and showing Chinese to the world. Thethesis is devoted to discuss how to integrate the original information in translation fromChinese to English and make the version meet the requirements of the target language. It isbased on the case study on series translation including Zhouzhuang, Heping Park andDiscover "China" in the city of Porcelain.The thesis compares the differences between Chinese and English tourism text in theaspects of language and function respectively and proposes the solutions to reconstruct theoriginal information. It is hoped the suggestions of the study may help to improve thequality of English tourism translation. |
