Zang Ziping was a very important writer in the twenties and thirties Chinese literary world.He not only contributed to large quantities of good works, but also actively involved in theCreation Society as one of the four well-known excellent writers. For a long time, ZangZiping had been perceived with many biases. Many people didn’t realize his contribution tothe literary activities. Therefore, based upon the recent community study train of thought,starting from the relationship between Zang Ziping and the Creation Society, throughcollection and analysis of the historical data, the author will discuss Zang Ziping’s literarycreation and literary contribution in the literary world and will demonstrate his role in thetwenties and thirties literary world. The full thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is concerned in Zang Ziping’s contribution and status in the Creation Society.Based on the historical data collection, we discovered that Zang Ziping had been an activeparticipant during the foundation of the Creation Society and in the later Creation Societyactivities. He made great contribution to the Creation Society, therefore it was said that he laidthe core position and played an irreplaceable role. At the same time, Zang Ziping and GuoMoruo, Yu Dafu, Cheng Fangwu, had developed deep friendship. As important partners, GuoMoruo did not forget his identity as a founder but also observed the activities of the CreationSociety.The second part is concerned in Zang Ziping and the Creation Society’s literary activities.Based on the close study on the “Creation” monthly journal and “Creation” quarterly journalas well as the published editorial series by the Creation agency, we can see that Zang Zipingplayed an irreplaceable role in its own way in the novel writing although he didn’t participatein the literary magazine and various series of editing or publishing work.The third part is about Zang Ziping’s departure from the Creation Society. It was said thatZang Ziping’s leave was due to economic reasons and he was criticized for his eagerness onprofits. After a clear analysis on Zang Ziping’s working situations, the author thinks that thereasons that Zang Ziping left include out-of-date literary view, complex relationships, lack ofrespect in the Creation Society. The economic problem was only one of the reasons.Finally, the author thinks that Zang Ziping contributed a large number of valuable works to the literary world and to the Creation Society. He played an important role in the twenties andthirties Chinese literary world.Researchers should not criticize blindly only based upon thefirst impression. He should hold the objective and realistic attitude to its literary activities andhave a deep analysis and close study in the literary creation works, then he is able to make fairassessment on its literary activities and value the significance and meaningfulness of theliterary works.
