A Study On The Poetry And Article Of Wan Shouqi

In the last Ming and early Qing Dynasty, Wan Shouqi is a famous scholar in the Yangtze River and Huaihe River area. In poetry, painting, carving and many other aspects, he has a higher attainments. He close contacts with Zhang Pu, Wu Weiye, Yang Tingshu, Chen Zilong, Yan Ermei and other celebrities. In ShunZhi Two, after the fall of South of the Yangtze River, Wan Shouqi and Chen Zilong, Qian Bangqi, Huang Jiarui and many other friends revolted against the Qing Dynasty, but unfortunately failed and he was captured. Released, he lived in Huaian and refused to work for the Qing Dynasty. Since then, more and more people admire him. He never forget the last Dynasty.. He died, leaving a "offspring can’t work for the Qing Dynasty " teaching, with others’ sigh.This thesis takes Wan Shouqi and his poetry and article as research objects. The first chapter does some research on his family and friends. The second chapter describes his life story, and add and correct existing annals. The third chapter, classifying his work by the theme, and analysing them. The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of Wan Shouqi’s artistic features and its literary style change.
