Li Shutong (1880-1942), master hong yi, was an outstanding figure in the modern Chinese literature and art. He is a pioneer in the modern Chinese painting, a torchbearer of art education and a personality influencing educator. The educational concept about Li shutong’s personality art,’knowledge is the first after art’, which runs through the whole process of special education and instruction. It plays a very important role on the student’s learning in arts and personality cultivation and open up a new prospect in art education.In this paper,li Shutong personality arts education research as the main direction,use literature reading,materials,act,summarized law.comparative analysis,visited law,interdisciplinary research and other methods to research and demonstration,the article have five parts.
