Edition Comparing Study Of Dmitri·Dmitriyevich·Shostakovich Piano Concerto No.2

Dmitiri-Dmitriyevich-Shostakovich is a great Soviet Union pianist and composer. The researches into Dmitiri·Dmitriyevich·Shostakovich and his compositions have long been ignored, not until recent years the situation has been changed with Dmitiri-Dmitriyevich·Shostakovich receiving more and more worldwide attention. Nevertheless the study on his masterpiece Piano Concerto No.2is very limited. The thesis mainly uses three research methods, each of which correspond with the main contents of respective chapters.1. The literature method, mainly studying the literature about the Piano Concerto No.2, in order to avoid duplicate researches and to begin the research with a higher j umping-off point.2. The analysis method, mainly analyzing the composing background and style of the concerto in order to better understand and interpret the Shostakovich’s music.3. The comparing methods, for the reason is when the sheet music was published the composer was alive, so I only comparing the records editions to understand the enchantment of Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No.2.The most remarkable identity of the Piano Concerto No.2is new classical style. The thesis analyzed Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No.2. in different way, and sum up plenty of different performing style through comparing different editions.
