He is one of the most active composers on the stage of children’s chorus in our country, and his works are frequently adopted by many domestic choruses in international and domestic competitions and concerts, which receive a lot of enthusiastic response. Among his works, songs such as Song of Yimeng Montain, Picking Tea Leaves and Hakka Children’s Folk Melody are sung widely. At China’s Children’s Chorus Festival in1993, there were unexpectedly11choruses performing altogether15songs adapted by him.The creation of choral woks in our country is getting more and more prosperous, just like the development of society. When chorus shows its fantastic artistic charm and huge social impact, it is also confronted with new issues, in which issues about creation of chorus are most obvious. In recently years, though new masterpieces have been in great number, works like Shepard’s Song and Song of Yimeng Montain, which have been welcomed, suitable for performance and have reflected life of ordinary people, have been really few.
