Objective:This study was designed to investigate the following questions:Whether there were differences between subliminal affective priming and subliminalsemantic priming; Whether there were differences between the two from cognitiveefficiency and cognitive bias for female. Methods: Female college students to complete cognitive efficiency and cognitivebias in two experiments of the subliminal affective priming and subliminal semanticpriming, subjects needed to judge valence and gender. Results: The results of experiment1: There was no any priming between reactiontime and accuracy. The results of experiment2:Deviation rate: There was a significantmain effect of gender of priming, F(1,35)=6.220,p <0.05;There was a significantinteraction between task type and priming gender. F(1,35)=11.083, p<0.01,there wereno other main effects and interactions reached significant level. To interaction of tasktype and priming gender for simple effect analysis, The result was found gender onaffective priming was not significant for simple effect analysis, F(1,35)=0.34,p=0.563;gender on semantic priming was significant, F(1,35)=10.04,p<0.01.Forfurther analysis, single t tests was found when priming were male pictures, t=3.5,p<0.01;when priming were female pictures, t=-2.274,p<0.05.There was no any effectin reaction time.Conclusion:(1) There were differences in cognitive efficiency and cognitive biasof subliminal affective priming and subliminal semantic priming, there was nopriming effects in the cognitive efficiency, but there were significant effects insemantic priming for cognitive bias.(2) In the cognitive bias, when priming were malepictures, there appeared consistent semantic priming effect, when priming werefemale pictures, there appears reverse effects.(3)In the cognitive bias, semanticpriming have priority than affective priming, there was no effects for cognitiveefficiency.(4)There was no affective effects in this study, the results to show subliminal af fective priming was a weak phenome non compared with subliminalsema ntic priming.
