The first section is the summary of ChenShidao adopting ever writer’s advantage to compose and practice, this part will focus onthe that he studied from Huang Tingjian and Hanyu. In the second section,it is aboutthe theories how Chen Shidao learned from Du Fu and elaborate Chen Shidao’s theoryand experience from setting style, giving connotation and considering words.The partalso analyses the reason why he can formulate his own style in spite of his learning fromDu Fu.The third chapter introduces the poetic theory of Houshan’s comments on Poets andPoetry—aesthetic pursuit, from relation between sentence and meaning、the naturemiraculous、the relation between elegance and vulgarity、the style of the poem、and requirement of the stylistic to make a total analysis about the whole aesthetic request ofHoushan’s comments on Poets and Poetry, it is the point to discuss the dynastycharacteristic of poetic theory in Houshan’s comments on Poets and Poetry.
