Learning motivation is the internal driving force to promote students’ activities oflearning directly, Self-efficacy is is a kind of intermediary cognitive factor that playsan important self-regulating role during the individual motivational process. Thissubject adopts common self-efficacy questionnaire and learning motivation scale,choose300students from Tianjin professional university randomly, the students arefrom different majors and different grades,including boys and girls. This subject is toexplore the following four questions:1、Whether there was a significant differencebetween vocational college students and ordinary undergraduates in the generalself-efficacy and learning motivation level.2、Whether there are gender differencesbetween different gender,different majors and different grades on the level ofvocational college students’ general self-efficacy.3、 Whether there are genderdifferences between different gender,different majors and different grades on thelevel of vocational college students’ Learning motivation.4、The relationship ofvocational college students’ general self-efficacy and learning motivation. The resultsof the study show that the level of vocational college students’ general self-efficacyand learning motivation are lower than the common undergraduates; Vocationalcollege students’ general self-efficacy did not have a significant difference betweendifferent gender,but have significant differences between different majors anddifferent grades,grade2are higher than grade1,major in liberal arts are higher thanmajor in science; Vocational college students’ Learning motivation have asignificant difference between different grades, different majors and differentgender,major in liberal arts are higher than major in science,grade2are higherthan grade1,girls are higher than boys;General self-efficacy and learning motivationof each dimension have significant positive correlations.So in this topic’s fourth part, the author discusses strategies from every angle toimprove vocational college students’ self-efficacy and learning motivation. Accordingto the vocational college students,a special student group, the author had a discussionfocus on how to reshape students’ self-confidence during the process of learning skills,and on how to stimulate students’ learning motivation, the author discussed theemotional teaching method which is often overlooked before.
