Accompanying the increase communication between Korea and China, more andmore Korean and Chinese students are learning Chinese and Korean language, as a result,contrastive study have been attracting attention gradually between Korean and Chinese. The comparability of Korean and Chinese is strong between two languages, although they belong to the Altaic and Sino-Tibetan language, there is a close relationship between the two languages as it is worth for comparison in all aspects.In recent ten years, the result of the contrastive Study of Korean and Chinese has been increased;especially there is a lot of the comparative research in the grammar of both languages. Hence, adopting the contrastive linguistics theory, this paper reviews the status quo and the results of the contrastive study of Korean and Chinese grammars in recent ten years by giving the own point of view on the basis of an objective summary.Up to2011, there are total of370papers related to the comparative study of Korean and Chinese grammar. However, these results have not yet been studied and summarized. In this paper, all research materials are collected and arranged for the first time from morphology, word category, syntax to analyze and summarize three major aspects of the contrastive study of Korean and Chinese grammar. It is expected that thefuture comparative study of Korean and Chinese grammar will make further progress.This paper is comprised of seven parts (except for the introduction and the conclusion).Chapter one is Korean-Chinese grammar summary. The second chapter is the status quo of the comparative study Korean and Chinese. The third chapter, from the point of morpheme and word-formation, review of the comparative study Korean and Chinese morphology. The fourth chapter, the fifth chapter and the sixth chapter are the reviews of the contrastive study of Korean and Chinese word category. The fourth chapterincludes nouns, pronouns, quantifier, numerals, verbs, adjectives, adverbs; the fifth ch apter review of prepositions, conjunction, postposition; the sixth chapter review of onomatopoeia, interjection and honorifics. The seventh chapter, a review of the contrastivestudy of Korean-Chinese syntax, there are3parts,includes sentence elements, sentence pattern, sentence category: in the first part, analyze and summarize subject, object,attribute, adverbial, complement, sentences areas;in the second part includes “ba”word, passive sentences, causative sentence, comparative sentences, negative sentence, existential sentence, subject-predicate sentence, complex sentence;in the third part, including interrogative sentence, imperative sentence and topic.
