The Investigation Into The Contingency Of Several Issues On Korea War

Most researches of Korea War aims to its historical fact, which makes us clearly know what theKorea War is on earth. However, only a few scholars focus on the research of Korea War’sinevitability. Maybe many people give tacit consent to the fact that Korea War isn’t avoided, so itisn’t necessary to stress it on purpose. But in my opinion, the reason why we devote to theresearch of the history assiduously is that history concludes contingency and accident. So doesKorea War. The paper is about the research of the contingency of Korea War.In this paper, the contingency of Korea War is mainly discussed from two aspects: individualreflection to history and the connection of the events. And the author analyzes the role ofcontingency in history from five points. These are the affection of General Douglas MacArthur’smistake in American intelligence; Joseph Vissarrionovich Stalin’s reflection to Korea War;Chinese government’s rejection to the United Nations’ cease-fire suggestion, which makes Chinamiss a good chance to cease war and gain the biggest profit; and the issue of the prisoner of thewar and how the war break out.When it comes to the contingency or accident, it always means the view of point to theproblem. If we tend to discuss the macrograph of the issue when trying to manage the historyregulation, we usually cannot get the conclusion of the contingency. Instead, if we focus on themicrograph and stress the individual research and the connection of events, we can get the relevantresult of contingency.
