Roland Barthes （1915-1980）was a leading figure in the field of semiotics in the20th century.His achievements for all to see,his theory was very popular. Since theeighties of the last century, Barthes ’s writings were introduced into translationinvolved in China, his semiotic aesthetic ideas have become an increasing concern ofthe theorists, once formed a fanatical state of Barthes studies.As an importantlandmark, Semiotic aesthetics achievements in the theory of Barthes, it is necessary torepeatedly study. This article is divided into five parts, mainly to explain Bart’spre-and post-semiotic aesthetics and the comparison of the theoretical perspectives ofthese two periods, as follows:Part I: Introduction. The part described on the basis of the development and therise of semiotics, leads to the semiotics of Roland Barthes’s aesthetic thought, and abrief description of their ideological source and ideological course. Total graspBarthes thought the premise of the development and changes, the elaboration of thespecific period of time below the theoretical point of view as the foundation.Part II: Roland Barthes pre-semiotic aesthetic ideology. In this section, the fourbooks from this period of Barthes start to explore its “zero writing”,“Semiotics ofpopular culture”,“Principles of Semiotics”and“The structure of the narrative works”.I will analyze the the Bart structure during the period of the theoretical characteristicsPart III: Roland Barthes late semiotic aesthetic ideology. Semiotic Aestheticsthinking of the late Roland Barthes has experienced a significant change fromstructuralism to deconstruction. During this period, Barthes’s theory is focused on thetext in theory. Such as “the death of the author”,“writable text”,“fivesymbols”and“intertextuality theory”.
