| As awareness of identity is an important factors to influence writer’s valuejudgments and aesthetic orientation, the awareness of identity in Zong Pu’s study hasbeen endowed with more important significance.In modern and contemporaryliterature, as the awareness of identity research is becoming a hotspot, and hasformed a more complete awareness of identity theory,it has guaranteed the feasibilityof the dissertation that studying the Chinese modern and contemporary literature fromthe view awareness of identityï¼›awareness of identity as a more systematic perspectivehas provide the innovation guarantee of the dissertation to some extent. This thesis iscut from the view of “awareness of identityâ€, taking Zong Pu ’s novel creations asresearch object, the dissertation discusses the awareness of identity in Zong Pu ‘snovels and creative writers.The paper is divided into the following three chapters:The first chapter is about the identification with and change of the identity of anintellectual. Since Zong Pu all her life insists on writing about intellectuals, it isinevitable to mention the identity of an intellectual. The issue of intellectuals includescreating the image of an intellectual and confirming his identity in the author’sconsciousness. This chapter consists of research on various intellectuals written byZong Pu and her own opinions and studies on the identity of intellectuals as anintellectual herself.The second chapter focuses on confirming and transcending the identity of thefemale. Zong Pu’s unique views of the female and of love, different from other femalewriters, result from the specific ages and her family where she has lived in and alsoher self-cultivation. This chapter focuses on her harmonious view of the female, thatof love “initiated by sensibility but restrained by riteâ€, and humanitarian concernsembedded in the awareness of the female identity.The third chapter centers around the nature and softness of a weather-beatenperson. The identity of a weather-beaten person is what Zong Pu regards one’s lifeexperience as, which not only differentiates itself from the former two identities butalso link them together. The three identities integrate together and form the uniquebeing of Zong Pu. The chapter studies autobiographic elements in her works based onthe autobiography theory, her concerns with ordinary lives as a weather-beaten person,and the interrelations among the three identities. This chapter is a summary of and sublimation from the former two chapters, which makes this paper an integratedwhole. |
