This paper mainly makes use of knowledge genealogy, based on the generativemechanism of “Contemporary Literature” to study Wang Meng’s literary creation andthe comments and research of academia to Wang Meng, return to the historicalcontext of literature and theoretical discourse,,enter into the inside of them with valuejudgment laid aside, and then to reproduce Knowledge Pedigrees of these discourse.That is to say, the starting point of this article is not to study “what did it say on earthin that age?” instead of “why did it say so”.This research method is a kind ofhistorical research,“historicizes” some concepts and problems using backtracking,not consider “what it has formed”, however, in this process of retrospect, some of theoriginal clear phenomenon become uncertain, and turn into questions, Such as," theconcept of “Contemporary Literature ", the formation of “literary history”, thesystem operation of Contemporary Literature" of, the personal creation of the authorsetc. They compels us to give clear answers, but according to the formative logic andthinking mode, it is very difficult to find the answers, because the operation of the "knowledge/power " let us lose the ability gradually to think about these questions.Therefore, only by using the knowledge genealogy can help us reopen our thinkingvalve, return to the origin of issues, and expose the operation process of " knowledge/power", so that we can explain these questions clearly, which is also the first attemptof the article.The introduction mainly tells the theoretical basis of the paper, the research goaland the relevant preparations. This argument was based on dealing with severalconcepts above, seek a kind of holistic grasp to contemporary literature development,reveals the operating mechanism of contemporary literature as a discipline, so as toexplore the mechanism leads to produce some comments on Wang Meng and WangMeng’s personal creation.The first chapter mainly discusses the relationship between" Wang Meng and thecontemporary literary system" relationship. Contemporary Literature" and the conceptis not a independent concept, and its generation and development is always connectedwith some factors " outside" literature. Such as political ideology, literary history andliterary conventions established by literary criticism, writer’s Knowledge Pedigrees, But it seems that these factors are outside the literatrue, which is what we call"contemporary literature" today. The concept of contemporary literary system in thischapter was put forward in the generating angle of the “discourse”, aiming to revealthe production and operation mechanism of “Contemporary Literature”, and then onthe basis of which the article studies the “peripheral content” of Wang Meng’s literarycreation in order to integrate a new criticism discourse of Wang Meng literaryThe second chapter mainly discusses the relationship between “Wang Meng and thehistory of literature”.In the article " literature history" does not refer to works aboutliterature history, but some creation and criticism styles which are influenced bywriting experience, classic writers and classic works related some literary creation andliterary criticism, including " anxiety of influence" and so on. This chapter is dividedinto three parts:" literature history" as a kind of knowledge production,“WangMeng’s image" shaped by " literature history", Wang Meng and the pioneer’sliterature. This chapter aims at revealing the relationship behind literary criticism andliterature creation, not consider that to be an existence of fact essentially, but a kind ofknowledge production.This is of benefit for us to reopen a new literary view, discussthe various problems occuring in contemporary literature, laid aside dispute of valueexists, see clearly what had happened, on the basis of which, we study variousproblems left over by history, which is more meaningful.The third chapter mainly discusses the knowledge pedigree of “Wang Meng’sliterary creation”. This chapter focuses on analyzing three aspects of the knowledgepedigree of Wang Meng’s literary creation: revolutionary experience, his own identity,traditional culture, but not mean to study the effects on the creation of Wang Mengcaused by these factors and how the works recur these theoretical discourse, but aninvestigation to these factors in the meaning of " Genealogy", and then explore howthe knowledge become the literature. The purpose is to clean up some of WangMeng’s literary creation, and isolate them from literature criticisim which has alreadybeen cured, come back to the original point of the author and works, study their context,so as to find a new theoretical fulcrum.This is also inspiration which " Genealogy"gave us the and innovation of this thesis.
