Michel Foucault, a France philosopher, is one of the most creative philosopher in the 20th Century, he is called "power philosopher". He studied the relationship among knowledge, power and subject, and proposed an special "power/knowledge" theory, in which knowledge was constructed by power. Under the influence of postmodernist philosopher, especially Michel Foucault, Sociology of Scientific Knowledge (SSK) was born in 1970s. SSK studied mainly the relationship between scientific knowledge and society, in which the scientific theory , scientific fact and scientific express were constructed by society.Michel Foucault's "power/ knowledge" theory is closely related to SSK. Michel Foucault ranks among the most influential postmodernist philosophers on SSK. This dissertation dwells on Foucault's momentous role in the transition of the researches from Merton's Guildline to that of SSK. He also made contributions to the methodology and ideology in researches of this respect. The dissertation studies Foucault's "power/ knowledge" theory, and explores the micro-technologic support system of power and the macro-technologic support system of power. The micro-technologic support system of power includes torture, punishment and prison, while the macro-technologic support system of power includes discipline, level management, standardized adjudication and examination . I also study other characters of power. I interpret SSK on the basis of this theory, then I can conclude: the social construction of science and the power construction of science are identical. Thus we can be provided a new opinion about the relationship between scientific knowledge and power, which provides an opportunity to make a political analysis on science. This makes a political turn of science. Joseph Rouse, an American philosopher of science, has achieved a lot in this area. Finally ,the dissertation rethinks the conclusion that science is constructed by power, and primarily analyzes its theoretical meaning and practical meaning.
