Research On Current Situation Of Religious Eoperience In Undergraduates And Influencing Factors

This study developed Undergraduate’ Religious Experience Scale. The situation of the Undergraduate’ Religious Experience was described and its relationship with the student’ self-consistency and subjective well-being was discussed. The main conclusions are as the following:(1) The Undergraduate’ Religious Experience Questionnaire has high reliability and fair validity, and it can be used as a tool to measure college students’ religious experience. The religious experience has five factors, Supernatural exist REs, mysticism REs, mysticism psychic experience, deja vu experience and synchronicity.(2) The Undergraduate’ Religious Experience lie in low mediate level. The girl in the experience of deja vu experience and synchronicity is more than boy. There are significant difference among different majors in Supernatural exist REs, mysticism REs and deja vu experience, and extremely significant difference in total and synchronicity. There are significant difference between the only-child and non-only-child in deja vu experience and synchronicity. And there are significance differences among different monthly living expenses in the five factors.(3) There is a significant negative correlation between the total score and five factors of religious experience and the total score, disharmony between self and experience and stereotype of self-consistency. Findings demonstrated a significantly positive correlation between mysticism REs, deja vu experience and synchronicity and self-flexibility Religious experiences have certain predicable functions to self-consistency.(4) Generally, there is a significant negative correlation between Undergraduate’ religious and the Undergraduate subjective well-being. There is a significant negative correlation between the total score of religious experience, Supernatural exist REs and Synchronicity and subjective well-being.
