A Multiple Perspective Of "Zheme X"

In the modern Chinese,"zheme" is a high-frequently used word. However, among almost all combination forms of "zheme X","zheme" format should be the most complex but worthy of our in-depth study, because it has a wide range of derivations with their different syntactic functions, semantic features, language features.This thesis is divided into five chapters. The introduction of this article is mainly explained the main research object,the meaning and purpose of the topics, research status, and research theory, methods, and corpus source.The first chapter is "zheme X" in the syntactic analysis, putting emphasis on the relatively high frequently-used group with form, such as the adjective,"zheme+the nature of the adjective", the verb "zheme+verb","zheme+yi+verb","zheme yi lai", the noun"zheme+the number of phrases+noun", parenthesis "zheme kan lai" and"zheme shuo lai" syntactic features.The second chapter is "zheme X"’s semantic functions analysis. Specifically, forms of phrases such as "zheme+the nature of the adjective","zheme+verb","zheme+the number of phrases+noun","zheme+yi+verb" are discussed from four perspectives:the indicating extent, the indicating way, the indicating number, indicating things, that these four things in terms of analysis. At the same time, the semantic functions of parenthesis "zheme kan lai" and "zheme shuo lai" are presented from perspectives of expressing presumption, expressing the speaker’s subjective attitude.The third chapter analyzes "zheme X"’s discourse function and pragmatic function. The function of "Zheme X" is the introduction of a topic, the conversion of a topic, the termination of a topic; pragmatic function mainly refers to the function of Cohesive Function (mainly back to refer to the convergence and the next refers to the convergence of the various groups, such as "zheme+the nature of the adjective","zheme+verb","zheme+ the number of phrases+noun","zheme+yi+verb" refers to a function with different manifestations), outside the functional, refers to the function. The parenthesis "zheme kan lai" and "zheme shuo lai" have the functions of conversion of a topic and subjective evaluation.The fourth chapter is the conclusion, summarizing the conclusions reached in this article.
