Haizi And Holderlin

Haizi is an excellent lyric poet in contemporary China.During the seven creative years in his short life, Haizi wrote more than250pieces of excellent lyric poems which included fiction and cultural theory that amount to nearly two million words.One of his poetic texts named "My favourite poet-Holderlin", describes his understanding, acceptance and resonance about Holderlin. Although, this literary theory is with the nature of prose, it is systematic and mature on the poetic point, which expresses the following points:as a poet, he should love people’s suffering and happiness, and sing those should be sang; a poet should travel the earth in the holy night to seek the spiritual home for human beings. He should focus on elements of writing, and combine the elements and landscape. Besides, he identified rudeness and hard style during the late Holderlin writing time. In this paper, the writer will mainly describe the poetic understanding, acceptance and difference based on this Literary by Haizi.The paper is divided into five parts, namely introduction, three chapters and the conclusion of the body. The Introduction part overviews the current research and findings about the Verse, and explains the causes and research value of the literary by Haizi; chapter one is written around the "poetic dwelling" and "rural utopia". Holderlin thought gods had left the world since the industrialization, and he appealed the homeless people come back to the spiritual homeland to promote poetic dwelling. Though living in the different cultural backgrounds, Haizi also show empathy to the people. He created a rural utopia through describing villages, wheat, wild flowers, girl, river, and yelled the desire to "go home"; chapter two is about the "happiness" and "pain ". Haizi believes that homeless’s poetry, singing the pain of life which makes the soul tremor. The poet should sing that should be sang from the the "happiness" and "pain" of these two opposites departure. The happiness contains the joy of life and love; the pain contains the survival of the Passion, love, grief departed. The third chapter discusses the Haizi’s poetic understanding of Holderlin. It is described from two aspects:his poetic ideals and the art of poetry. Haizi’s poetry ideal is to integrate the China’s action, and to achieve a unity poem which combines the people and the national human, and the poetry and truth". He describes the art of poetry from the "element", the rough and hard poetic style and the music of poetry". In the end, this paper will pointe out Haizi’s acceptance and understanding of the poetry of Holderlin.The private of poetic stance and cultural background inevitably lead to the existence of bias and misunderstanding.
