Disease is a human exception of a physiological phenomenon, along with the generation of human. When the human recorded the disease in the books, thought the causeas of disease,the panic and fear that may result from the phenomenon of illness and death brought about by the disease and thus began to think about the meaning and value of human life,diseases are no longer confined to medical areas. Especially when they enter the expression of human emotions and ideas of literary works, they are not only widely used by literary creators as a narrative tool demonstrating the distinctive literary features, but also reflects and refract the multiple meanings of social, cultural, moral and political by an objective description of the specific disease, which have been given a more profound cultural connotations. Disease described in the Ming and Qing popular fiction are more prominent, compared with the previous generation, the types are more abundant, descriptions have more features,but studies are few, it is necessary to have a in-depth study of the performance.The article regards disease in the Ming and Qing popular fictions as a research object, analyses the characteristics of types, mines the theme and explores the value of the disease described in the narrative, trying to have a in-depth interpretation of the cultural connotations of the disease described in the narrative.This article includes introduction, body, discussions and six chapters content. The first part, introduction mainly described the theoretical basis of choosing this topic and the value of academic research of it, finished the current academic research about this, and briefly described the research methods.The second part,the body is divided into four chapters. Chapter I,"origins and analysis of the type of disease in Ming and Qing popular fictions" is divided into three sections:Section I explores the literary source of the disease described in Ming and Qing popular fictions, Section II comprehends and analyzes characteristics of literature of the disease described in the fictions of ancient China before the Ming Dynasty, Section III describes disease in a brief from the narrative strokes and the moral of content, and analyzes the writing characteristics of different types.Chapter II,"explaination of theme of disease discribed in Ming and Qing Dynasties popular fictions", includs five themes:the day-to-day narrative of illness and death and the theme of the world situation, the lovelorn and the theme of love,spiritual ecstasy and tragic theme, physical illness and moral metaphor, physical illness and political metaphor, explaining the subject content of the disease described in Ming and Qing Dynasties popular fictions from different angles.Chapter III,"Narratology meaning Of the disease described in the Ming and Qing popular fictions", Firstly described its perfect story and Narrative power function Of the development of plot. Secondly, it detailed analyzes the narrative techniques of the disease described in the Ming and Qing popular fictions, and finally described its role and significance to Characterization:Chapter IV," cultural connotations of disease described in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’popular fictions ", mainly Analyzes all kinds of cultural values and projected by the disease described, including the concept of traditional medicine, religion, cultural values and confucian ethics. Chinese medicine culture emphasis on discusses the disease narratives reflects the unity of nature and the overall concept of balance of Yin and Yang coordination view.Eligious cultural part focuses on religious characteristics the Buddhist and Taoist reflected by the disease described. Confucian culture is mainly discusses that Novel creators of the disease described call on the traditional Confucian ethics. The end of the article is the discussion,mainly discuss the literary influence and cultural enlightenment of the disease described in the Ming and Qing popular fictions, and that disease described in modern fictions inherit from disease described in the Ming and Qing popular fictions in the metaphorical theme.
