Chinese design development is only30years, is still in the primary stage, itsdevelopment is still in the pursuit of utility function, and the aesthetic form, however, onusers experience, use of the design are concerned about.The design of foreign experiencein the development of nearly one hundred years, begin to move towards more humaneways forward, a large number of designers, design staff in thinking about what design is"right" for product design--the convenience of use, product sales promotion, corporateimage and other aspects of the survey research, is really able to point to point to solve theproblem, rather than through the designer’s theory that a utopian and beautiful pictures,data.Therefore, this involves two aspects: the designer and user.The design differs from art,design is the purpose of the work, the purpose is to market, in order to attract consumers,so that consumers pay for the design.In an open market situation, design can attractconsumers, by consumers, in order to occupy a broad market.The main contents of this paper: the first part, through the modern design history andcurrent situation to undertake an analysis, clarify modern design concept, and based on theanalysis of the modern design in the development of "design" and "good design" whichleads to the article focus--what is the "right design", what is "good design".The secondpart, through the "design" and "good design" with different concepts of interpretation, andthrough some case analysis, put forward "why need to design".The third part, analyzes thedifferent "good design" and "how to design" in the modern design application andimprovement, and thereafter attached improvement method.The fourth part, respectively,from the point of view of designer and customer point of view to analyze how the design ofthe pursuit of "the design" and avoid "good design".The aim of the paper is based on the modern design and the problems that exist in theanalysis, put forward in the targeted under the premise, from the psychology, ergonomicspoint of seeking "to explore the way and method of design", convenient people’s life.
