On Study Of Li Yu’s Imitated Story

Li Yu is an accomplished scholar of the Ming and Qing dynasty, in the field of Imitated Story; he was inventive, creating a refreshing "Liancheng Bi "and" Twelve Buildings. Feng Meng Long and Ling meng chu created three short story collections and two surprising story collections,which is the peak of the Imitated Story, since that it is difficult to achieve a breakthrough and innovation, but Li Yu is able to achieve such fabulous story. He was so great. The man and the works of him have received appraisal and criticism, but we can not be too demanding for perfection. In this thesis, the author mainly describes positive factors as well as defects and shortcomings.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is an overview of the Li Yu and his story, including three aspects:First, Li Yu’s life trajectory in the origin of novels, and its impact on the style of the novel as a whole; Second, about his story creation, from the literary concept of Li Yu,he argued for innovation, easy understanding and the demand that the story should be in line with the human psychology, he also sew novel as a silent opera, these ideas in his novels have been demonstrated. Third, the relationship between fiction and drama, inheritance and innovation in the novel version of Li Yu, fiction and drama, adapted to each other. In the Second chapter, Li Yu’dramatic comedy characteristics are presented. First, in the structure, his novel is in line with legislation mastermind Occasional Enjoyment "secret needlework,""fewer clues" and other structural requirements. His novels show strong comedy characteristics:first in humorous language style, a variety of artistic expression, which creating a relaxed comedy result; Second in plot arrangements, it also has a preference comedy ending.The Third chapter is about value orientation in Li Yu’s novel, in general he promoted traditional ethics, appraised women for their talent and he was able to clearly distinguish between love and sex of the male and female, of curse he was for the freedom of men and women free love each other, he also defend polygamy standing in the position of the male,advocating that women should obey men, what is more he was still advocating the feudal superstitions, to some extent, and intended to cater to the desires of the general public.At The end of this chapter, the author also briefly discusses the weakening of the educational function of Li Yu’story.
