Life is an old and eternal topic in literature, and concerns, questioning, praise or seekingto transcend for life contribute to the ultimate meaning of literary expression. Study on the lifeimplication of the images in “Book of songs” from an aesthetic perspective is a relatively newfield of literature research.The era of “book of songs” is a time which makes its way from the primitive religionculture to the rational age of life awareness. Secular view of life in patriarchal clan systemgradually formed, and a kind of warm and strong clan life consciousness in the poetry hasappeared. At the same time, inspired by the simple philosophy of " harmony between manand nature", people in that era have been able to combine their sentiments of life and thethings around them in their aesthetic feelings, by which individual life emotions arehighlighted in the poetry.From a multidimensional perspective of anthropology, cultural studies, sociology,history, psychology, ecology and aesthetics, by presenting the life forms and the aestheticideology embodied in these images, the aesthetics implications of life contained in "book ofsongs" are analyzed and explained in this article, and the application and developing of sometypical images in the history of literature are reviewed and commended.Except for the first chapter of introduction, the main contents of this article include thefollowing four aspects: in the second chapter, according to the study on images of plantainseeds, pepper seeds, gourds, locusts, fishes, algae, melons and archetypal images from theancient myth, the worship for strong reproductive capacity for life and praise for the vitalityof life in its primary period are analyzed; in the third chapter, by the study on the staticimages of flowers, leaves, trees, faggot, the combination of hill, the marsh land and botany,“the Sun and the Moon”,“mountains and rivers”, as well as the dynamic images of love birds,crowing and horses, aesthetic implication of the static beauty and the vigor in life’s peakperiod are discussed; The main contents of chapter four is the aesthetic elaboration on concerns with sorrow and exhausting in the recession period of life: through images of rain,cold spring, frost and snow, human’s living environments are reflected. The images of water,green vegetation and “climbing up” imagery interpret people’s worries and laments for life.And with the images of boat, withered vegetation and bird the presence of life itself have beenrevealed; In the fifth chapter, the images of "netted pheasant",“empty flagon",Campsisgrandiflora, ephemera, cricket and flutist have embodied the poets’ reflection andsurmounting consciousness for life.
