The Confucianism Culture Perspective Of Vietnamese Poetry In The19th Century

Confucianism has a far-reaching impact on Vietnam, every aspect of Vietnam’s feudal society is subject to the influence of Confucianism. This research article focuses on a smaller, that is, the perspective of Confucian culture in Vietnamese poems during the19th century.The main idea of this article is to conduct a research on the influence of Vietnamese poems impacted by Confucianism in the19th century. During the19th century, most people who wrote poems all participated in the imperial examination, they all had acknowledged the influence of Confucianism. They expressed their desire and will through poetry. Their influence by Confucianism manifest in the following concepts:loyalty to the emperor and being patriotic, practicing moral culture or destiny and leisure. There are four chapters in this paper, the first chapter is introducing the origin of study, the present situation of study, content, significance and methods. The second chapter is summarizing the main idea of Confucianism and Vietnamese culture, which coversConfucianism and the process of Vietnamese people accepting the thoughts of Confucianism. The most important chapter is the third chapter, which focuses on the Confucianism culture perspective of Vietnamese poetry, and is divided into two parts, the first part is about Confucianism and Vietnamese literature in the19th century; the second part is introducing Chinese character and poets of Chu Nom, and the influence of Vietnamese poetry impacted by Confucianism culture, all these contents can perform through the following three aspects, that is,"rectification of names, destiny and leisure thought".
