In order to investigate whether the graduate group have the heterogeneity of high self-esteem, and the social comparison effects of the heterogeneity of high self-esteem under social compare, this study design three experimental to research on the graduate group. The results show that:(1) The explicit self-esteem of the graduate group is higher than college students’, there is the implicit self-esteem effect among the group.(2) the social comparison effects exist only when difficulty of the task reaches a certain degree.(3)On upward social comparison condition, the post-test score from the high explicit and high implicit SE is higher than the high explicit and low implicit SE.On downward social comparison condition, the post-test score from the high explicit and low implicit SE is higher than the high explicit and high implicit SE. On downward social comparison condition, the score from the high explicit and low implicit SE between pre-test and post-test is significant. The result shows there is the assimilation effect.(4) The tendency of comparison on upward social comparison condition is higher than that on upward social comparison condition among the high explicit and high implicit SE. The tendency of comparison on downward social comparison condition is higher than that on upward social comparison condition among the high explicit and low implicit SE.
