His comics were just in the lay of imitating others.nut meanwhile,he thought positirely and tried to find out his own innovative route.the success of big condition comic was important development of the ideas about comics creation in this period.The second phase is Yan’an period,Hua Junwu’s dreams and srtistic goals changed a lot,As he was influenced by red ideas of Yan’an,he started to make his comics populaire and nationalization.The new comic creation ideas and direction made Hua Junwu have to begin to search the cartoon creation subiect and object.After long time’s exploration,he gradually formed his own popularity,national comics’pursuit and characteristic.The third phase is the period of northeast china,during the period,Hua Junwu had begun to make use of his comic in popularization and national characteristic expertly,and created many impressing comics which were called classics ny later generations.The success of these comics which marked Hua Junwu had reached organic unity of revolution art and emotion became the peak of the development in his comic creation’s thoughts.The fourth stage is when from after the founding of new china to the beginning of the cultural revolution under the new regime.Hua Junwu’s comic creation was facing an important reform,it was the change of theme of comics.He started to change his theme from the familiar political battle field to social life.He began to develop his own internal cartoons and follow closely situation.because of these,he made a mistake.even he was strucked in the cultural revolution.During this period,Hua Junwu was helpless in the comic creation.The beginning of the cultural revolution broke all his exploration.The fifth stage is a new period of reform and open culturnal revolution.and he was active in comics industry again.During this period,the thoughts of his comic creation became more dignified and maturity,He published a large number of series of comics,during the creation of comics,he emphasized the introspection to the malady of social syatem.as well as the affirm of the achievements of reform and open,and the supports in spiritual civilization.this is his another peak in comic creation.Hua Junwu’s growth course records his comic style’s formation,variation,transition and development.his comic works are provided with high artistic value and historical value,the concept which is expressed in the comic has great educational significance to the time and the society.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,it is mainly about the study on Hua Junwu’s comics and the cause of writing;The second part is the narrate of Hua Junwu’s life course and his comic creation it includes the changes of his life ideal in different period,and the state of comic creation;The third part is about the formation and development of Hua Junwu’s comic creation.We prove the formation foundation of his comic creation,and the characteristics of the deve;opment,which is the core content;The fourth part is about the discusses of his comics’artistic functions.I expansion demonstrations from the aesthetic value and educational significance,it is the review and orientation in historical value and social significance of his caomic’creation; The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper.I summarize and sum up the creation and artistic functions of his comics by comprehensiving above each part,and I make my own rational judgments about the influence which contributes to the development of comic’s art in the future of Hua Junwu’s comic creation.
