This paper explains Li jianwu’s dramas from the main three aspects: focusing onthe humanity as the central theme of his dramas, characterization and the arts of lines,and his exploring and practicing the nationalization of drama writing techniques bycombining Chinese and Western elements.Li jianwu makes use of humanity as the theme of his dramas.
