The Chinese animation once had a glorious history in the world which was known as "The Chinese School". However, with the gradually deepening of China’s reform and opening after the1980s, the concept of artistic creation and the mode about the making and producing of domestic animation exposed serious defects formed under the previous planning economic system. Thereafter, the productive techniques of domestic Animation became serious outdated caused by the large-scale application of electronic computer and digital imaging technology in western animation’s manufacture. Besides, with the unprecedented impact caused by the mass influx of foreign Animation(for example, from America, Japan, Europe, and other countries), the deficiency of independent research capabilities of domestic animation industry, and the orderly commercialized operative mode is still far from mature, etc. Chinese animation industry has got into a downturn and stagnant state in the fierce international competition, and then was confronted with severe situation in the tide of the world animation industry’s fast forward.The author of this article has carefully summed up the successful experiences of domestic and foreign animation films and then discovered that the radical way for domestic animation industry to get rid of the current predicament is maintaining the way of "nationalization" in creation. Reviewing the world animation’s history, we can find whether the past "Chinese school" animation films or another countries’, the radical reason that they were welcomed by the world audience is making the unique and wonderful explanations about their national culture. In the current China, however, one of the most prominent problem in the animation industry is that a large number of animation workers (including the theoreticians) are too infatuated or even worship alien art forms and software technology which causes Chinese animation films are showing serious "westernization" characteristics at present:a tone of exotic elements floods from the earlier play writing, image designing to the late film synthesis. As a result, Chinese animation film can’t capture audience’s psychology very well and lost its position in the tide of the Internationalizational and marketizational stormy, so intensifies its survival crisis eventually.The Ink Animation is a fusion of animation with Chinese culture which inherits and carry forward the essence of Chinese traditional culture and art. It showcases the unique charm of our national culture and art, so flickering brilliantly in the Animation film world. It is characterized by strong national aesthetics and contains profound cultural connotations. In the context of "globalization", it will not only help to advance the pace of the domestic animation theory’s construction, but also can play an active role in promoting the healthy development of Chinese animation industry and the national culture’s newborn by making a deep analysis on the aesthetic characteristics of Ink Animation.
