In China slogans have a long history, are widely used and have asignificant impact, which is an important language and socialphenomena. Now problems like linguistic and logic errors, all toentertain, language violence and feudal superstition exist. The researchof Chinese slogans with theory of lingual logic has important theoreticalvalue and practical significance.The thesis aims at showing the slogans’ successful dissemination,depicting the slogans’ main illocutionary, observing social problemsfrom slogans by theory of implicature.Firstly, the study starts with theory of verbal communication,illustrates the transmission of slogans by schema of speechcommunication. And it shows the two forms of basic and simplifiedmode of verbal communication which slogans are in separately. Then itillustrates how the slogans to achieve an effective, successful, and anideal communication.Secondly, using theory of speech act, through quantitative analysisof more than two thousands slogans, it can be concluded thatdirectives is the main illocutionary act.Finally, with the help of the theory of implicature, it shows slogansmust comply with the cooperative principle,and most of the slogansshould obey to cooperative standards. And it discusses the socialproblems that today’s Chinese ridiculous slogans reflect by usingpresupposition theory.
