Li Yinghai, China’s famous composer, folk music theorist, music educator, he enrolled in southern Sichuan Normal, Chongqing Qingmuguan Institute of Music, Nanjing National Institute of Music. He taught in Hunan Music Institute, Central South University (Arts School), Central South forces Institute of the Arts, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory of Music, making outstanding contributions to professional music education in China. Mr. Li devoted his life to the study and creation of the folk music theory and actively explored national heritage and development of counterpoint in contemporary. He set the Book of Songs to music ("Guan Ju, Tao Yao, Fu Yi") which is the outstanding works of Chinese nationalization chorus. This paper takes Li Yinghai’s choral work "The Book of Songs three subjects" as study object, analyzing particularly from adjusting tonality, musical structure, characteristics of rhythm, harmony and nationalization. It emphasizes on correct conduction to the works from the view of choral conducting. Hope to enlighten the similar choral works.This paper is divided into four chapters:the first chapter is a brief summary of Li Yinghai’s life and music achievements; the second chapter is text poetic interpretation of "Guan Ju, Tao Yao, Fu Yi "; the third chapter is music ontology analysis of the Book of Songs three subjects; the chapter four is detailed commanding interpretation of this works.
