As it is widely known to the world, the history of Chinese food is quite old and its categories and types are countlessly various and abundant.In this study, the vocabularies that are frequently and commonly used in Chine se food culture are the main subject to be researched. And among those vocab ularies, study of the major vocabularies and other related issues are covered in the view of education. Language and culture are often linked together closely and the language itself reflects characteristics of nation’s society, history, cultur e and ideology. The vocabulary, which is very basic unit of the language, also reflects each nation’s culture. Therefore, it is nearly impossible to study certain nation’s language or vocabulary without studying cultural background of the nation. This implies that we must attach high importance to characteristics that Chinese culture that is included and reflected in Chinese vocabularies, when we study and conduct a research on the Chinese vocabulary.This study’s main purpose is to study the Chinese vocabulary that it origin ally implies and how it is differently transferred under influence of Chinese fo od culture. Chinese food culture has been closely combined with social cultural activities in the entire history of China, therefore, social cultural value is direct ly involved in the food history.In this aspect, we can safely conclude that vocabularies of food cultural ph enomenon among the Chinese vocabulary contain ample amount of cultural con tent.In Chapter1; purpose, current status, range, and method of the study are descr ibed. and the importance and signification of cultural factors and education, esp ecially the importance of studying food culture among HSK vocabulary, is dose ribed in Chapter2.In Chapter3, basic vocabulary in the perspective of HSK food culture and ho w the vocabularies are differently transferred are depicted. Additionally, prohibit ed vocabularies due to the influence of food culture are also explained in the Chapter3. And studying method related to food culture is presented in detail in Chapter4.In conclusion, this study explains numerous implications and definitions of vocabularies related to food culture among HSK vocabularies, and how those v ocabularies are exchanged and transferred by combining vocabularies and corres ponding cultural background that influenced the change. This study will provid e vivid scene and better understanding in studying Chinese language when peo ple with foreign background study Chinese language. In order to draw better e ffect and consequence of studying Chinese language, further view and study ov er Chinese cultural background must be researched and studied.
