In Xishuangbanna, a beautiful, rich, magical land, many domestic and foreign tourists are attracted by its long history and culture, the colorful local conditions and customs. Theravada Buddhism is believed by the whole Dai people. Buddhist temple construction is the best description for its plastic arts, of which the temple gallery is the most laudable and important component, including wood carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, Jinshuilouyin, painting and other variety of traditional arts. The traditional skills of the Central Plains and the artistic characteristics of Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and other countries are absorbed and fused. The decorative arts are also very beautiful and full of national feeling.In this article, the gallery of Theravada Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna was the main research object.
