The main resource comes from unlson of animal words, the habit of animals,people’s life and production, ancient legends and literature works. The feature ofcultural-loaded animal words are referring to different opinions, totem idolizationincluded in contained meaning, full of rhetoric devices such as analogy andoverstatement and so on.Based on "The Chinese level grade outline of vocabulary", this paper searchedanimal words among the four grades in the Outline, and obtained29animal words, andbrought these words into the HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus so as to get as manyerror sentences as we can, after that we analysed the reasons of all the sentences andproposed relevant suggestions.The paper typed the errors into the wrong addition, the wrong omission, the wrongsubstitution and the ambiguity of all the cultural-loaded animal words, and based on theerror types, we summarized the reasons as the wrong understanding about the meaningof animal words, the improper strategy of learning animal words, the culture shock andso on.Finally we proposed some suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language:to strengthen the teaching consciousness on animal words, to lead some culturebackground information, improve teaching methodology and complete the classificationwork of cultural-loaded animal words.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter of this paper introducedthe purpose and significance of the research, the subjects and materials of investigationas well as methodologies adopted.The second chapter raised the explanation and content of cultural-loaded animalwords and summarized the source and features of cultural-loaded animal words.The third chapter classified those error sentences into the wrong addition, wrongomission and ill-substitution,and ambiguity.The forth chapter analyzed the reasons of the errors appeared in the HSK DynamicComposition Corpus.The fifth chapter gives suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The last chapter summarizes the whole paper and puts forward the solution.
