Vocal Music Teachers Should Have The Quality And Capacity

Vocal music is an abstract subject. The task of a vocal music teacher is to guide the student on how to use their voices to process and express different style of musical works. In order to achieve this, a vocal music teach must be eligible and capable himself, so that the vocal music industry can be improved and more vocal music talents can be educated.This paper is composed of four chapters.(Chapter3and Chapter4are the core part of this paper. In these chapters, it explained in multi aspects on the qualities and capabilities that an eligible vocal music teacher needs.)Chapter1:Illustration of the career position and characteristic of vocal music teacher on four aspects:vivid, emotion, flexibility and bilaterality.Chapter2:Qualifications that a vocal music teacher should have, including:moral, arts and culture knowledge.Chapter3:The professional qualifications that a vocal music teacher should have, including:necessary knowledge on physiology and psychology, as well as both Chinese and foreign musical history knowledge, set up appropriate aesthetic concept and realize the importance of aesthetic.Chapter4:The professional capabilities that a vocal musical teacher should have, including:sufficient vocal music theory ability, good expression ability, singing and demonstration ability, piano accompany ability, good listening and sensitivity, flexible organization of teaching ability, teaching and research ability.Hopefully this paper can be helpful for the research of vocal music teaching and practice.
