The structure of “shi(是)……de(的)” is one of the key focus and difficulty inTeaching Chinese as a Second Language. Based on previous research, this paper doessurvey on the structure of “shi(是)……de(的)” by South Korean students, and categorizethem into structure one and structure two with interlanguage theory and error analysistheory by the use of corpus statistic and questionnaire. The purpose of this paper is toanalyze the distribution of error, conclude acquisition discipline and give advise as well asdevise to teaching.The paper consists of five chapters:The first chapter introduces the selected topic basis, significance and research goal ofthe paper, it also points out research program, classification, corpus research methods andsources and literature review.The second chapter focuses on South Korean students’ errors investigation. Based onthe Beijing language and Culture University study on the dynamic composition of corpusand Jinan University’s interlanguage corpse, it summarizes five kinds of errors and theratio of all by the exhaustive investigation to determine the fault type and its embodimentof the Study on Chinese Language.The third chapter is the acquisition research based on questionnaire. With thequestionnaire survey of primary and senior South Korean students, it does the research onthe law of acquisition sequence of “shi(是)……de(的)” structure and some points forattention.The fourth chapter discuss the reason for causing the errors by researching SouthKorean students learning “shi(是)……de(的)”structure. Based on interlanguage theory as afoundation, it sums up the causes of errors which includes negative interlingual andintralingual transfer, learning strategy and learning environment. Moreover, it points out the possibility of dialect’s effect on the cause of errors. This paper aims at summarizing thesurvey results and making instructional suggestions and designs about how to teachstructure one and structure two. The teaching suggestions in the light of“shi(是)……de(的)”structure, the confusion of“de(的)”and“le(了)”,and the specificproblems of“的”appeared in the sentence“shi(是)……de(的)”are also discussed.Chapter5,a conclusion is herein reached, and the inadequacy is also pointed out.
