Field Research In Western Henan Province Base Drum

The Heluo large summon from Yanshi,flourished in Gongyi,the base drum, also known as “drumJingqiang”,“Drum touch the string”,“drum book”.It is also absorbed in the of Luoyang piano book based onthe characteristics of the Nanyang drum book formed. The form of a base drum performances,singing stylesimple straightforward language characteristics of great western Henan province, loved by the people inwestern Henan province. The base drum formation has been100years of history, has also experiencedprosperity, decline and fall of such a process. Selected the first batch of national intangible cultural heritagein2006, but now the situation worrying for extinction, many people are not familiar with it folk.In this pater, done a lot of the field, focused on the developmentand current situation of the basedrum,shows the base drum from the prosperous to the decline of the whole process.Which also analyzedthe reasons of the decline and fall protection measures. The purpose is to allow more people to understangthe concern in this folkmusic, and thus lead to how to make it folk music revitalization thinking.This paper uses field survey and literature analysis to writing. The article is divided into threeparts: introduction, body, conclution. The text is divided into five chapters chapter I briefly describes thebase drum; analysis on the basis of the fieldwork for the second part of the development and ststus of thebase drum; Chapter III analyzes the reasons of the decline of the base drum; The fourth chapter presents therecommendations of the conservation strategies for chapter introduces the background of the IntangibleCultural Heritage protection to protect the singnificance of the base drum folkmusic.
