Recently price inflation is the pivotal issue which impacts people’s subjective well-being. Through theregulation of our national policies, the speed of the price inflation is stabilized to a great extent. But both ofthe inflation and its influence would keep rising in a certain period of future time. Therefore, the thinkingand research on the influence of people’s subjective wellbeing brought by price inflation is extremelyimportant. The main research method is questionnaire survey, and it will discuss the influence of people’ssubjective well-being given by price inflation on Chinese culture background. This research uses statisticaltechniques such as descriptive analysis, oneway analysis of variance and multiway analysis of variance.The conclusions are as follows.1. According to the different levels of influence given from price inflation to people, the factors ofprice inflation displayed from high to low are inhabitance(housing price or renting price rising), foodstuffprice rising, clothing price rising, daily necessities price rising, education and entertainment price rising,medical and health care price rising and transportation communication price rising.81.4%of researchparticipant expressed their dissatisfaction about the price inflation. The correlation between the factors ofprice inflation and people’s subjective well-being is negative. There are six dimensions which influencegreatly negative predict efficacy about people’s subjective well-being. They are foodstuff price rising,clothing price rising, inhabitance price rising, daily necessities price rising, family furniture price rising andmedical and health care price rising.2. The difference of affordability on city dwellers in diverse income levels is distinctly obvious whenfacing price inflation, whereas the difference of subjective well-being on these people is distinctly obvious.3. Different types of price inflation give rise to distinctly diverse influence on people’s subjectivewell-being. According to the points of people’s subjective well-being, in the types of price inflationdisplayed in the first paragraph, people who consider education and entertainment price rising as thebiggest influence get the highest score of people’s subjective well-being, whereas people who considertransportation communication price rising as the biggest influence get the lowest score.4. The difference of people’s subjective well-being influence on different genders when facing priceinflation is not obvious. But in ten dimensions of people’s subjective well-being, there are five dimensions which have distinctly diverse influence. They are contentment experience, mental health experience, mindbalance experience, interpersonal adaptation experience and family atmosphere experience; The differenceof people’s subjective well-being influence in different ages and marital status when facing price inflationis not obvious, whereas people in different educational background and careers expresses a distinctlyobvious difference of influence.
