The Applied Research On The Mongolian Yurt Building Decorative Arts In The Modern Architectural Design

Mongolian yurt belongs to felt kind of architecture.Because of the Mongolian nomadic life method,their yurt must be simple, easy assembly, easy disassembly and fit for mobility. The mature Mongolia yurt building decorative art provides a large number of ethnic material for the modern architecture and inherit design.Therefore, national culture will be effectively keep, inherited and developed and it is significant for the protection of the national industry and local characteristics culture.Yurt building decorative art reflects the multiple and diversed resources,and provides an important means for the continuation of the nomadic spirit of the style of traditional folk. Traditional yurt type has a wide variety of decorations such as decorative patterns, designs, shapes, colors and lines,ect.It has a certain historical and aesthetic value.Therefore,the yurt is is a treasure house of art emerging architectural art and ancient national culture.This paper takes yurt construction decorative elements in modern buildings as research object,by. the architecture, design and other related theories. After investigating a great deal of information and visiting the yurt elements of modern architecture in the Inner Mongolia region, this paper analyses the cultural and historical connotation, through its external and internal architectural elements and decorative features, combines with the life of the Mongolian nation, religion, belief and other factors, takes the Genghis Khan Mausoleum, Mongolian style garden, Inner Mongolia Hotel as typical cases,and at last summarizes the successful application of innovation and development on the yurt building decorative art in the modern architectural design (ie, the Hohhot Railway Station).
