Common and unique youth experience can remind generation of a special feeling. Times portrays inevitably traces on each generation of young people. Intergeneration is in accordance with the concept of time groups. They are such a group of people who have a similar upbringing and life experience. In the 1990”s, the market economy system, in China, are provided with a more relaxed and tolerant atmosphere on Chinese literature. Authors show their characteristics and something in memory of youth in full blossom of literature. The paper bases on the youth novel which published in the 1990s, dividing into four generations that are 50,60,70,80 generation respectively, coming into the point as generation, focusing on the hidden changes of times and social psychology, exploring the effects on the generational youth novel.The paper includes two chapters. The first chapter introduces various upbringing backgrounds according to difference of times, highlighting the particularities of intergeneration about youth novel. Poverty and the memory of the Cultural Revolution have indelible effect on youth texts of writers in 50 generation. Writers of 60 generation still can not get rid of the shadow of the Cultural Revolution. The great time changes make their work more misery and lose the trace of faith. In the 1970s, the unexpectedly consumption free or release the confined desire of writing. However, in the variegated and colorful life, people can not hide the indifference of human and spiritual emptiness. While the writers of 80 generation, depending on the network platform, describe the youth of boredom with the rebellious attitude and resist the growth posture in order to escape from reality.The second chapter discusses the common youth themes beyond the generations, although each time leave irresistible times feature to the writers. In contrast, beyond the generation, each time writers on the youth narrative have a common in themes, including rebel theme, love theme and female theme of wandering. As same themes demonstrate distinctive differences, they all revive the memory of youth in a imaginative way.
