A Study On The Drama Movement In The Anti-Japanese Base Area In Northwestern Shanxi

During the 1930s and 1940s, rural society had changeddramatically in northwestern Shanxi. The war and the revolution isthe mainstream at those times. The drama which is mobilized andorganized by the Communist Party of China has played an importantrole in the Periods of Anti-Japanese War. The drama movement inthe Anti-Japanese Base Area in Northwestern Shanxi was showingunprecedented prosperity. It has a profound impact in theAnti-Japanese Base Area in Northwestern Shanxi on theconsolidation of the Anti-Japanese democratic government of theCommunist Party of China, on the people’social and cultural lifechanges, and on the final victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
