| New left-wing literature is a stream of literature creation thoughts,which raised in the mid of90s.It made people begun to discuss how to inherit the left-wing literature heritage, call on rebuilt the close connection between literature and reality,and recover the realistic criticalness.Left-wing literature tradition didn’t disappear in contemporary literary history, it still affect writers by hidden or obvious ways. And the fact indicated that literary tradition can deeply influenced literary creation.This paper try to find the emotional connection between modern and contemporary left-wing literature tradition, disentangle the vein of literature history, explore background,significance,dilemma of new left-wing literature and discuss how does it inherit and develop modern left-wing literature tradition by analysis the specific writers’works under the guidance of the theory such as "Chinese literature in20centuries","whole view on new literature","rewrite history of literature". The paper is trying to make an evocation for the creation and trend of contemporary literary.The paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is discussing the reality background,thoughts background and cultural backgrounds of new left-wing literature from reality of transitional society, discussion between new left-wing and liberalism in the ideological sphere and introspection of Belles-Lettres and bottom literature.The second chapter discusses the ideology resources and the historical possibility of new left-wing literature.We can find two traditions by vertical hackling the development of left-wing literature traditions of left-wing literature in Shanghai and Yanan, they influenced the writing of new left-wing literature in different ways,and afforded ideology resources to it;Meantime, the cultural memory of socialism,moral carried tradition of intellectual and the inheritate and development of realistic creation provide the historical possibility for the rising of new left-wing literature.The third chapter clarified the classification and features of new left-wing lit erature based on specific works. New left-wing literature includes not only bottom lite rature which faced and criticized reality directly but also impassioned literature which faced to history, called revolutationary idea and passion and embodied reality fightin g spirit of intellectual. It also point out the basic character is critical spirit and resistant thinking,people’s stand and the claim of social justice,method of realistic creation and the grand aesthetic characteristic. Based on this conclusion, it blended into new thinki ng and creation, presented a new diversification.The fourth chapter analyses the signif icance and predicament of new left-wing literature. The meaning of new left-wing lite rature is it revived the tradition of fighting reality, intervene society and realistic fight ing spirit up to a point. It connected literature to thought, political. reality and represe nted the standpoint of people. The issues of new left-wing literature has three aspects. First is it referenced the narrate model of left-wing literature and the model being dis pelled and deconstructed by postmodernism and post elitism. And the other two is low level of literariness and short of historical and class consciousness. Faceing the suppr essing and incorporating of dominating ideology and consumerism of late capitalism, the beggest problem of new left-wing literature need to solve is how to keep on its ow n characteristic and criticalness with continuing development. |
