| In dialectology, ping dialect in northern part of Guilin gets more and more attention. It is also a very controversial dialect. Many dialectical sites have not been investigated, so its attribution has not been settled in academic circles because the lack of overall and accurate linguistic data. Therefore, this thesis investigated the phonetic system of Daqiao Dialect in Zhemu town, hoping to provide reliable materials for further study of ping dialect in northern part of Guilin. In this paper, we try to present the phonetic features of Daqiao dialect in the diachronic evolvement and horizontal comparison. The research method is field investigation. By comparison and analysis, this thesis summarizes the phonetic characteristics of Daqiao dialect. Based on the features of ping dialect acknowledged by the academic field and comparison with the other two dialects in Zhemu town, the author concludes that Daqiao dialect is a tributary of northern part of Guilin-Pinghua.This thesis includes six parts:Chapter1:Introduction. A brief introduction about the Daqiao County’s geographic location, language use, the investigation spots, my cooperators, and literature review of ping dialect in north Guangxi. Meanwhile, it also explains the purpose, significance and research approaches briefly.Chapter2:The phonological system of Daqiao dialect in Zhemu town, Yanshan district. It mainly depicts the initial, vowel and tone of Daqiao dialect simply, and then the initial, vowel and tone of Daqiao dialect are adjusted to do a lie. At last, we list the Homonyms of Daqiao dialect.Chapter3:The phonetic features of Daqiao dialect in in Zhemu town, Yanshan district. It mainly depicts the phonological system of Daqiao dialect, and then generalizes the phonetic features of Daqiao dialect by contrasting with the ancient Chinese phonology.Chapter4:The internal consistency and differences of dialects in Daqiao country. It makes a comparison on the consistency and diversity of the following three dialects Zhemu town, Daqiao, Niubitang and Lingzidi dialect in their initial, vowel and tone.Chapter5:The origin of Daqiao dialect in Zhemu town. It compares the phonetic features of Daqiao dialect in three levels, which are initial, vowel and tone with the features of Ping dialect acknowledged by the academic field in order to decide what dialect it is.Conclusion. |
